Experienced Medical Lab Scientist (Cytotechnologist) - Day Shift

Are you an experienced Cytotechnologist looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a skilled Medical Lab Scientist specializing in Cytotechnology to join our healthcare team. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule, working five 8-hour days per week. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Key Requirements:

• Familiarity with the Cerner system is a plus.
• ASCP-CT certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a Community Hospital setting.
• Proficient in ThinPrep with general skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Cytotechnologist.
• Ability to perform immediate evaluations.
• Hands-on experience with Ascitic fluid, Bronchial, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, Urine, Cytolyt, Thinprep, and mounting procedures.
• COVID-19 vaccination is necessary (medical or religious exemptions will be considered).

Job Duties:

• Utilize knowledge and experience in various cytology techniques including handling Ascitic fluid, Bronchial, Esophageal, Gastric, Spinal, Urine, Cytolyt, Thinprep, and mounting procedures.
• Microscopy skills are desirable.
• Assist with smear preparation, onsite procedures, staining techniques, and immediate evaluations.
