The Medical Information Specialist will be responsible for advancing investigational agent Medical Information strategy. He/she will partner closely with medical strategy lead on refinement and execution of investigational agent Medical Information strategy. Key areas of focus include: (1) Refinement of investigational agent Medical Information strategy (2) Medical Information Content Development (standard response documents and Question and Answer documents (3) Content development for case escalations for assigned product and any other SWTX investigational agent (4) Medical review support, including accuracy check of references, for promotional and scientific content, as needed.
ü Develop and maintain deep understanding of therapeutic area and product knowledge
ü Drive Medical Information initiatives for assigned product, ensuring seamless planning and execution
ü Developing Medical Information content for HCP and consumer audiences that can be shared across multiple channels
ü Provide support in the development of new Medical Information concepts and shepherd them through review with subject matter experts, medical, legal, compliance, and regulatory (from concept to approval)
ü Serves as a key Medical Information strategic partner for assigned product launch readiness strategy and annual medical plans
Education and Qualifications
ü Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or MS) in Life Sciences
ü 4+ years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry (or agency side) with strong working knowledge of and sensitivity to U.S. regulatory/compliance guidance regarding scientific exchange and dissemination of medical information
ü 4+ years of relevant Medical Information experience, including authoring content and development of response documents highly preferred
ü Relevant therapeutic area experience (oncology/rare disease) preferred, but not required
