Job Description

PlatformQ Health is a leading digital medical education provider, producing live and endured online Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities in a convenient and engaging interactive format. PlatformQ Health currently designs, develops and provides education in over 13 therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, rare diseases, cardiology, infectious disease, and immunology. The Company has strategic partnerships with leading medical societies, associations, advocacy groups and foundations. Examples include ASGCT, NORD, KDIGO, and AAFA.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Proofread and/or edit posters and associated language for outcomes presentations at professional and medical society/association meetings
  • Proofread and/or edit grant documents, including proposals and letters of request (LORs)
  • Collaboration with internal teams, such as Medical Editor, Business Development, Grant Ops, Medical Directors, Outcomes, Patient Education, Marketing, and Program Management
  • Proofread, edit, and format reference lists and ensure citations are numbered correctly in needs assessments
  • Compile marketing language used to promote and generate audiences for clinician and patient/caregiver activities
  • Assist with other editorial and proofreading tasks as assigned by the Sr. Medical Editor
  • Ensure PowerPoint slides within an activity deck have consistent formatting (references, titles, fonts, spacing, etc.)
  • Proofread various materials used in the implementation of PlatformQ Health projects, including PowerPoint slide decks, program and registration webpages, abstracts, and promotional materials

Skills Needed:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • Knowledge of data entry/sales databases (Salesforce, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of conferencing tools (Zoom, etc.)
  • 1-2 years prior continuing medical education (CME) or healthcare editorial experience, and/or 3-4 years of proofreading/editorial experience
  • Knowledge of Slack instant messaging service
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
