Medical Device Assembler Level 1

Moog Medical Group in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for Entry Level Medical Device Assemblers Level 1 to join their Ultrasonics Division. You will report to Production Supervisor.

Important Responsibilities:

• Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management
• Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested
• Complete required training
• Learn new assembly instructions to support other areas of production as needed
• Read, Understand, and follow Assembly Instructions
• Identify and report any issues, defects, or mistakes with products, equipment, or instructions in order for the team to learn and improve our processes/equipment
• Measure, test, and inspect throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet the requirements as it is assembled
• Maintain the work area and ensure proper organization is sustained
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Complete test records with measured results in accordance with the assembly instructions
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Perform in accordance with Assembly instructions and expectations of the Production Team

What you’ll need to be a successful part of our team:

• Basic Math Skills
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Ability to work on 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Clear and color vision is required (ability to identify and distinguish colors, depth perception & judge distances)
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a repeated basis
• Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and lead others to do the same
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills

Nice to have these experience:

• Circuit board soldering experience
• Electronics assembly experience
