We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hybrid Medical Data Entry Representative to join our team in Longmont, CO. As a Hybrid Medical Data Entry Rep, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of new account setup in billing systems, researching and resolving variances in assigned account portfolios, and maintaining data integrity of alternate databases.
In addition to a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour, full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days of employment, which includes health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. We also offer a 401(k) with a company match for full-time employees with 1 year of service.
As a Hybrid Medical Data Entry Rep, you'll enjoy a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work from home and come into the office one day a week. You'll work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all that Longmont has to offer.
Responsibilities
Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly census updates provided by facilities, verifying payer information, patient demographics, and other patient account information with a high level of accuracy in a timely manner.
Maintain the data integrity of alternate databases including but not limited to Payer code crosswalks and bed/room stations (i.e., Hierarchy tool, Census tracker).
Work with customers and/or electronic interface to ensure receipt and completion of census documents according to Policy and Procedures.
Collaborate with the billing team to promote accurate customer billing.
Work with the Census Manager/Supervisor in researching pharmacy accounts requiring special attention, as indicated on Census reports, and taking all necessary action to ensure accuracy of data being entered.
Qualifications
Medical field background
Insurance, Pharmacy Techs (no License Required), Hospital Experience
Basic computer and problem-solving skills
Billing Experience Preferred, But Not Required
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
