Medical Assistant - Luxury Body Contouring

Overview Our ideal Medical Assistant (MA) is super personable with a passion for providing excellent clinical support and a safe and fun experience for our patients! This position plays a key role in our connection with our patients and must have the ability to connect with patients on an intensely personal level to instill trust and confidence. Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certificate of Completion of an accredited MA or similar program
• Narcotic counts
• Current BLS certification is required
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Check, clean and stock bathrooms every hour to ensure our high standards are being met

• Process pregnancy tests
• Perform operational tasks in accordance with the company's policies and procedures under the guidance and management of the Practice Manager and Nursing Leadership Team
• Support patient recovery

• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Pre-op and Post-op calls
• Ability to multitask under pressure and be highly responsive to patients & team members Company Perks & Benefits:

• Support surgeries in the OR
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from areas as needed.
• Availability to work on weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays) when or as required Preferable Job Qualifications:

• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results and other information for medical records
• Administer medication orally and through injection where States allow
• Prepare operating room(s) and assist our nurses and physicians with medical procedures, recovery and other patient care.
• Perform clinical tasks in accordance with onsite Physician and/or Nurse orders

• Assist in surgeries

• Unpack and put away shipments/supplies
• Clean, sterilize and store instruments, equipment.
