We have offices in 10 cities and serve over 10,000 individuals and families annually. Join us!

About The Program And Position

This is a transitional foster care program for Unaccompanied Children (UC) under the supervision of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). An unaccompanied child (ages 0-17) has left their home country and crossed the US southern border without an adult. Instead of a congregate care setting, we place unaccompanied children in foster homes while we find and vet a sponsor for them to be unified within the US. During their stay with us, we provide medical care, case management, life skills classes and mental health services. The role our Medical Assistants play in all of this is crucial to the health & wellbeing of our unaccompanied children who are trying to establish a new home in the U.S.

Our Medical Assistants are passionate about helping this vulnerable population and provide support for any medical needs required by the unaccompanied children we serve.
