Medical assistant position

PielViva Dermatology is looking for a Certified Medical assistant to join our dynamic team.

Must be bilingual English-Spanish and certified in the state of New York, fast learner, detail oriented, reliable, have great communication skills and a passion for patient care and patient education.

duties:

Greeting and escort patients to the exam room

intake medical history including current medications and input on our EMR ( electronic medical records)

submit prescription to the pharmacy

assist on small dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies

instrument sterilization

patient education

All patients are require to wear a face mask. Air purifiers are present on every room. Additional ultraviolet C system was installed to purify the central air conditioning.
