Job Description
Advance Urgent Care is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a critical role in providing patients with high-quality care and attention. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive top-notch services, whether they come to us for routine check-ups, urgent care, or more serious medical issues.


In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients, taking vital signs, recording medical histories, updating medical records, and assisting our healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visits.


Responsibilities


  • Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures
  • Cultivate a welcoming and compassionate environment for patients
  • Record medical histories and vital signs accurately
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by providers
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatments
  • Update electronic medical records with patient information
  • Greet patients and prepare them for exams and procedures


Requirements


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and other office software
  • High school diploma or equivalent
