MED TECH Singer Island, Florida

Ambrosia Treatment Center is looking for experienced Med Techs to assist the nursing and tech departments with Med Pass and other duties

at our substance abuse facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

Administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider;

Observing and reporting patient's responses to the medication to the provider;

Making sure the medication supply room is organized and clean;

Assisting with medication cart audits;

Providing accurate counts of all medications;

Taking vital signs;

Documenting and receiving patient requests and communicating to nursing, tech or clinical staff;

Inputting data for medications and vitals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Positive attitude and demeanor required.

Experience:

A minimum of one year Med Tech experience.

Education and training:

High School diploma or GED required.

Completion of required training.

Med Tech Certification required. No exceptions.
