Role Specific Responsibilities

• Registers outpatients and/or specimens received from outside customers, as necessary.
• Identifies and labels all specimens according to hospital and laboratory policy.
• Prepares specimens for send out to reference laboratory
• Assists with reception and front office duties as necessary.
• Performs the duties of the Laboratory/Pathology Representative and Front Office Staff.
• Collects and processes specimens.
• Distributes laboratory reports according to current guidelines.
• Maintains equipment and stocking of supplies

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience And Skills

• COVID Vaccinations
• Technical Experience: 3 years phlebotomy experience required
