Mechatronics Engineer Jobs

Summary

Seeking a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to work in a fast paced and flexible environment for a growing Electro-Mechanical contract manufacturer. Candidate will work with customers to define and develop automation systems and sub-assemblies, layouts, and processes in the industrial automation space.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers to source parts through design process
• Interfacing with customers to develop drawings and BOMs and design for a variety of needs using CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.)
• Research, design, and management of automation systems and sub-assemblies
• Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes
• Improving existing processes through layout, materials and information flow, and machine placement
• Work with Manufacturing Personnel to continuously improve processes during new or existing builds

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Fluent with MS Office as well as MS Project
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally and convey technical information well in written and verbal formats
• Advanced knowledge of 3D CAD systems
• Experience in working with customers
• Electrical schematics, layouts, component selection, and project management
• Skills including engineering, manufacturing, program & people management, and technical understanding
• Design and develop automation systems for industrial automation applications
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-10+ years experience to include:
• Successful delivery of projects within scope and on target.
• Working knowledge of regulations and standards and test protocol (methodology, standards and regulatory).
