What will your day look like? At Aerotech, you will:

• Troubleshoot to determine the cause of malfunctioning products, work with peers and supervisors to find a solution, then perform modification and repair when necessary.
• Inspect and fit precision machined parts using various instruments and procedures such as micrometers, calipers, electronic and dial indicators, laser interferometers, autocollimators, and other devices.
• Work directly with engineering to improve system designs and performance.
• Assemble high end automation products using a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys, torque wrenches, flat stones, hammers, pliers, and custom tooling or fixtures.
• Prepare and install linear and rotary bearings, encoder scales, and other precision components, through the use of work instructions, control plans, engineering specifications, sketches, assembly drawings, and related computer software.

What will separate you from the rest? Experience with:

• Precision measurement/part inspection experience (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
• Precision Bearing Installation Experience
• Effective electronic communication and general software experience
• Blueprint/Drawing experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Qualified candidates must have a mechanical aptitude
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED;
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Qualified candidates must have experience with utilizing tools
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
