Job Description

Immediate Hire – Full Time Mechanical Engineer (Boca Raton)

Dioxide Materials is helping to fight global warming by converting CO2 from a waste product to a valuable commodity. We are offering a full-time opportunity for a mechanical engineer student or recent graduate in our office located in Boca Raton, Florida.


The candidate will help us design, develop, test and produce new designs for machines to recycle CO2, as a way of helping to prevent global warming. Specific tasks include using Solid Works or a CAD software to design the components of these machines. Also, simulate flow and stresses of the machines to understand how the machine should perform and how they could be improved. Help design a manufacturing process for the machine, build a prototype and measure its performance.


Qualifications:

·Must be eligible to work in the US, and pass a background check with no issues.

·Experience with SolidWorks, SolidWorks simulation express or equivalent design software (Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) recommended).

·Knowledge of mechanical equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications.

·Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans.

·Knowledge of electrical wiring and connections.

·Must interact professionally with internal and external customers at all levels.

·Machine shop experience and equipment fabrication experience.

This is a fulltime position, 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
