We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical automation systems, utilizing robotics and other components. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all mechanical designs are aligned with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and other stakeholders on mechanical design issues.
• Test and evaluate prototypes and final products to ensure that they meet project specifications and standards.
• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and materials for construction projects using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement mechanical solutions that are efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations to provide updates on mechanical design progress and issues.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the viability of proposed mechanical designs.
• Analyze project requirements, specifications, and standards to ensure that all mechanical designs meet project needs and requirements.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for mechanical systems and components.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and components.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8 or more years of experience in mechanical automation design.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
