The Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform engineering and testing assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications. Apply sound engineering judgment. Perform as a technical contributor on projects. Interface with engineering peers, senior engineers, and program managers to receive tasks. Work within a team to promptly complete tasks. Communicate effectively to accomplish assignments and support others in accomplishing their assignments.

Job Functions

  • Present the progress to customers
  • Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure the accurate completion of products
  • Identify problems with products and processes to improve manufacturing
  • Create innovative designs and processes and optimize them for use
  • Design, analyze, test and troubleshoot various aerospace technologies
  • Provide solutions to correct underlying challenges in products or processes
  • Work within budgetary and schedule constraints
  • Knowledge transfer and training to on-site personnel

Qualifications

  • S. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is a plus
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize competing tasks and opportunities
  • Experienced in reading assembly drawings, build instructions, specifications & standards.
  • Ability to quickly adapt as circumstances change
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Appreciation for people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences. We have fun together!
  • Solidworks + Inventor Exp
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing & Production systems
  • US Citizenship required
  • Motivation to work in a fast paced, creative environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Initial on-boarding of 2 weeks on site in Oklahoma City, OK. Option to work on-site or remotely available.
  • Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
