Summary

We are seeking a Materials Manager to lead our material's team and ensure timely delivery of forecasts and purchase orders to support production requirements and goals. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent with 5+ years in a management role, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy or Business or a Technical degree with a Manufacturing or Supply Chain emphasis, experience with a Manufacturing software system, preferably Oracle, and experience with Microsoft Office and Data Management systems.

Job Functions

• Schedule and host meetings with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
• Ensure timely delivery of forecasts and purchase orders
• Supervise personnel, hire, train, monitor, and evaluate performance
• Lead material’s team to support production requirements and goals
• Collaborate with departments to ensure total alignment for all projects and daily production
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize obsolescence
• Maintain accurate records and logs for all required functions

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong communication, organization, prioritization skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Data Management systems
• 10+ years Manufacturing experience with 5+ years in a management role
• Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy or Business or a Technical degree with a Manufacturing or Supply Chain emphasis
• Experience with Manufacturing software system, preferably Oracle
