Title: Material Handler (Printing)
Category: Hourly Production & Manufacturing
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Band loads of defective material for disposal.
- Follow all Plant Safety rules and uphold a safe working environment.
- Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
- Maintain the operating condition of forklifts.
- Stage rolls in the designated areas.
- Job requires use of standard forklift and roll clamp.
- Shrink printed loads for removal from press area.
- Band lap waste and remove from press area.
- Remove printed loads from the printing presses.
- Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Capable of lifting in excess of 25 lbs.
- Ability to accurately distinguish color variation
- Ability to understand technical written and verbal instructions
- Must have forklift and roll clamp experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.
