ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 1 to 40 pounds, 70% of the time worked.
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude that promotes pride and the desire to improve, good work and organizational skills.
• Responsible for daily housekeeping and organization in area of responsibility.
• Ability to cooperatively work with fellow team members and management in Materials, Assembly, and other departments.
• Must have Lockout\Tagout and hazardous material training.
• Must be able to interpret computer printouts and displays.
• All Material Handling Demands for Area (scrap, pallets, cabinets, trash, returnable containers, and material movement.)
• Requires accuracy with part numbers, quantities, and model numbers.
• Ability to follow the production schedule and must be able to monitor multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Must be able to unload trucks and process paperwork accurately and on a timely basis.
• Must give notification of any material shortages a minimum of 4 hours before shortage.
• Must be willing to fill in wherever needed due to absences or vacations as directed by the Materials Area Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Internal applicants must have no write ups in the past 6 months and less than 5 attendance points
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required
• Must be able to pass a mathematical skill test & typing test
• Must have previous forklift experience and material handling experience
• Basic Computer Literacy and data entry skills required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to drive, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
