Markets Liaison Jobs

Artisan Partners is looking to network with individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in investment management. The Markets Liaison role allows an analytically proficient candidate the opportunity to interface directly with trading and investment professionals, with a specific focus on developed and emerging markets in the technology and consumer sectors. This role is designed for candidates with a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to excel. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of sales, trading, research, or investment banking experience.

Location: San Francisco, CA | New York, NY | London | Hong Kong

Salary: $100,000-$140,000

Specific placement within the provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location as well as relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon Firm and individual performance.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to:

• Deliver regular and ad hoc insights to trading and investment teams
• Execute on various ad hoc market research projects
• Monitor company, industry and macro developments
• Develop best practices using technology for data collection, storage, and organization

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong written and oral communication skills – ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
• Strong work ethic and ability to operate independently
• Undergraduate degree required
• Solid technical and analytical ability with strong attention to detail
• Highly organized, results-oriented, high integrity
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and cultivate deep industry connections
• 1-5 years of relevant sell side or industry experience
• Prior exposure to the technology or consumer sectors, a plus
• Entrepreneurial drive and commercial thinking
• Enjoy market dynamics with sincere curiosity to learn
