Leveraging best-in-class talent, technologies, and techniques—we partner with ambitious clients to engineer data-enabled solutions to mission-critical business problems.
We are looking for an undergraduate Marketing Strategy & Operations Intern for a paid, hybrid 8-week internship. The expected weekly time commitment for this opportunity is 10 to 20 hours per week.
Please note that this internship is a 1099 contract opportunity, not a W2 opportunity, strictly for candidates that reside in or near Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, TX.

- You are a marketing practitioner who enjoys both customer-facing and heads-down work
This role may require you to
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing operations
- Attend in-person marketing events in Texas and other locations in the U.S.
- Collaborate with teammates using Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, and other software
- Prepare marketing slide decks and other communications assets
- Plan, execute, and quantify the impact of strategic marketing campaigns
- Drive community building and engagement efforts thorough online and offline channels
- Write and publish articles for The MyDataProduct Blog
- Support market research and selection for MyDataProduct's portfolio of products and services
- Initiate and manage communications with various target audiences
An ideal candidate has
- Demonstrated experience in a high-impact marketing role
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
- A fundamental understanding of Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) Theory, as defined by Tony Ulwick / Strategyn
- Effective modular thinking skills evidenced by the ability to break down large, intricate undertakings into a series of smaller self-contained tasks
- Emotional intelligence and coachability
