ABOUT THE POSITION
As a full time opportunity, the Marketing Strategist for Dropout/CH Media will build marketing ecosystems within Hubspot and accompanying technologies to build data driven decisions as it relates to marketing initiatives. Responsibilities and initiatives include but are not limited to the following: creating campaigns to drive new subscribers, segmenting email messaging based on a customer’s content preferences, creating strategies around merchandise drops (hosted on Shopify), weekly content release emails, launching our first-ever referral program, and supporting ongoing organic and paid social media marketing.
Most importantly, this role requires expertise in Hubspot email marketing; however, the ideal candidate also has experience in other aspects of digital marketing and will be excited to work cross functionally on all things marketing for Dropout. We are looking for a proactive team player who genuinely loves Dropout content, thrives on getting into the details, and wants to dive into all things Hubspot and beyond to help drive the business forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and provide analysis on insights and KPIs as requested, and recommend opportunities for new strategic initiatives
- Work cross functionally on a referral program (in Refersion) launch and look for opportunities to optimize and scale the program with both content creators and our current subscriber base
- Develop successful marketing strategies to grow the Dropout subscriber base and create customer loyalty
- Troubleshoot workflow issues
- Achieve HubSpot certifications and keep up-to-date on latest features
- Create and manage campaign tracking parameters, specifically Google Analytics UTMs and source code tracking, to measure effectiveness of all Hubspot related initiatives
- Oversee, review, and help approve and implement campaign assets
- Create and produce emails, landing pages, etc. hosted within Hubspot
- Create and execute segmented email flows/lists based on best practices to drive customer retention
- Test and improve upon campaigns/messaging to constantly improve performance and efficacy
- Establish and maintain monthly and weekly reporting dashboards of up to date analytical reports and KPI’s
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of website URL structure, Meta Data/Title Tags
- Experience in copywriting, content strategy, email automation, CRO
- HubSpot Expertise and any and all applicable Certifications
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to draw insights and optimize campaigns
- Experience in A/B testing best practices and data-driven successful marketing strategies
- General digital marketing experience with a focus on email marketing and workflows
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS A PLUS
- Additional related and tangential digital marketing skills and qualifications a strong plus

Rate: Competitive pay, based on experience level
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm PST
Location:Remote in California (Los Angeles Preferred)
