Job Description

Paid Summer Marketing Intern $18hr. As a marketing intern you will work with the promotion, events, Caesars Rewards program and advertising team members to learn various areas of our marketing operation this summer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Distribute monthly event calendars to all departments.
  • Maintaining the integrity of all promotional programs through verification of information for marketing research purposes.
  • Train affected departments on Promotion and Event information
  • Communicating features and benefits of the Total Rewards Program and all related promotions to prospective and gaming customers.
  • Reviews player rating screens and issues complimentary rewards based on gaming in accordance with established complimentary policies (comps, gifts, perks).
  • Creates and issues Harrah’s Total Rewards cards and effectively promotes all entities of the property to gaming customers.
  • Maintaining database integrity by following high standards of data entry while maintaining accurate records.
  • Acknowledging, greeting and conversing with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly manner.
  • Assist with submitting Certificates of Giveaway for Promotions and Events.
  • Ensuring the protection of customer’s rewards and account information.
  • Manage and track hosting and volunteer programs.
  • Support the Promotions and Events staff with administrative and clerical functions.
  • Perform other assignments as deemed necessary by the Total Rewards Management.
  • Meeting attendance guidelines of the job and adhering to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Assist in the execution of Promotions and Events and perform related activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must enjoy working with the public. Previous experience working in a customer service position.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Must be able to type 30-35 words per minute.
  • Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
  • Previous computer skills preferred. Must enjoy working with the public. Previous experience working in a customer service position.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
  • Must be able to type 30-35 words per minute.
  • Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
