Marketing Graphic Designer I

In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Marketing Graphic Designer I based in our Irvine, CA* location. This position is primarily responsible for the creation of content and elements for in-house and customer facing materials. This can include creating layouts, redrawing logos, updating content, correcting typography, concepting/creating mock-ups of designs, and versioning existing creative.

General Responsibilities

• Editing existing creative to fit current direction; includes versioning for multifaceted projects
• Collaborating and consulting with other company departments to advise on creatives
• Collaborating with other designers and creative team members to produce final project elements or deliverables, including creative reviews/critiques
• Timely completion and delivery of creative for projects underway and smaller creative solutions from start-to-finish. This includes but is not limited to social media, smaller brand signage and elements, event collateral, digital banners/pop ups/content, and interdepartmental creative support
• Image and photo editing including but not limited to retouching/clean up, post editing, and manipulation based on predetermined direction of project stakeholders or other designers

• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Department needs may call for occasional overtime
• Pay Range is $24.35-$27.00 per hour The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year tenure with In-N-Out Burger
• Computer literacy in both word processing and spreadsheet functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• For Store associates:
• Adobe creative suite – photoshop, illustrator, InDesign experience required
• Understanding of typography, layout, color and graphic design principles
• Some college preferred (Marketing and or Graphic Design courses a plus)
• 1-3 years of Graphic Design and Marketing experience required
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
• Understanding/working knowledge of the printing process and paper
• Motion graphics software is a plus
• Strong customer service skills
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to take projects from concept development to production
• Proficient in web based graphics including formatting, optimization, and on screen considerations
• Excellent problem solving skills
• No Final Warnings in the last six (6) months and must be in good standing with Management
• Minimum Level 3
