Summary


This theme park is looking for a fun-loving, data-driven marketer to join our team. We are all about driving results and creating unforgettable experiences and memories for our guests. If you’re a marketer that wants to break away from the typical, mundane desk job and uses a combination of creativity and analytical thinking to grab people’s attention, this opportunity is for you. As Director of Marketing, you will work with the global & US corporate teams to develop and execute high-performance plans to improve and deliver quality guest experiences, all with the ultimate goal of growing attendance and EBITDA.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Compile, analyze, and distribute financial and performance metrics required to meet long-term company objectives
  • Hire, support, and lead direct reports including Marketing seasonal team members.
  • Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized, and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized
  • Coordinate and execute all marketing functions, including B2C, B2B/group sales, events, online marketing, promotions, and public relations
  • Collaborate and engage with park leadership team, as well as other company stakeholders, in developing and executing a high-performance plan
  • Lead and implement strategies within paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels
  • Lead and ensure proper marketing brand and standards are in place at the park, including signage, handouts, printed materials, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the General Manager, Regional Marketing & Sales Director, and Corporate Team.
  • Direct, monitor, and mentor the sales and marketing team in activities
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans, communication plans, and budgets for the park
  • Coordinate efforts with other Park Departments to continually improve and deliver quality guest experiences to customers in all areas
  • Grow earned media opportunities, and leverage social media to gain awareness for ticket offers, events, and programming


Qualifications


  • Flexible scheduling is required. During busy spring and summer season, hours will include weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Sales, Advertising, Communications or related fields. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of related experience required. Prior experience in the tourism or theme park industry is a plus but not required.
