WHO YOU ARE:
The Marketing Data Architect will primarily be responsible for designing and implementing Customer Data Platform solutions in conjunction with creating an overall marketing architecture strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Does not need to be an expert in the tactical hands-on work but should be well versed in capabilities, use cases, and technical details.
  • Work with both IT and the business; serve as the bridge between groups as needed.
  • Work with program leadership to delegate work to additional architects and developers, located across the globe, ensuring that tasks are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate technical concepts with business justification to marketing and IT stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, prioritization of work, and agile-based activities.
  • Understand key business, marketing, and IT drivers, goals, and priorities and be able to apply that to architecture discussions.
  • Work on a variety of engagements, from large-scale marketing architecture projects to one-off implementations of Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Lead discovery, ideation, and design of the marketing architecture for global, multi-brand enterprises.
  • Will have full ownership of the marketing architecture, end to end.
  • Understand current state; design and architect a scalable forward looking future state architecture; be able to define a path on how to get from current to future state.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Required

  • Skilled at creating client-facing presentations to guide decisions and tell a story.
  • 5+ years of prior external consulting roles working with enterprise-level clients.
  • Structured and Unstructured data
  • Google Analytics and BI Analytics solutions
  • 5+ years of experience designing and working across multiple components of an enterprise marketing architecture.
  • Unknown to known conversion and identity resolution
  • Data Lakes, MDMs, Data Warehouses
  • Understanding and experience with:
    • Google Analytics and BI Analytics solutions
    • Marketing Automation tools
    • Advertising ecosystem (onboarding, DSPs, identity graphs)
    • Unknown to known conversion and identity resolution
    • Data Lakes, MDMs, Data Warehouses
    • Structured and Unstructured data
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Firm understanding of common agile frameworks and agile principles.
  • Ability to research problems, create proofs of concepts, and create innovative solutions in a self-guided manner.
  • Advertising ecosystem (onboarding, DSPs, identity graphs)
  • Some experience with the Salesforce Marketing solutions (Marketing Cloud, Interaction studio, Datorama, CDP / Data Cloud).
  • Marketing Automation tools
