Marketing Coordinator - Content Creation & Events


HomeSafe Alliance is the single global household goods movement manager of over 300,000 Military Household Goods moves per year for USTRANSCOM and the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families.


The Marketing Coordinator - Content Creation & Events position will be a member of the Strategic Engagements Team and a typical day will include leading our customer and B2B event marketing strategy and executing successful in-person and virtual events. The Marketing Coordinator will create content to support those events, create social media content, and tackle ad hoc marketing projects to support HomeSafe’s success. This role will also support the Strategic Engagements Team in building brand awareness and fostering relationships across our various stakeholder groups. We’re building a program that changes the way the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense civilians, U.S. Coast Guard, and their families relocate, and this role will be a key contributor to that mission.


Position Description


  • Video editing
  • Create content for social media posts (event-related and other), blog posts, email copy, presentations, and others as required
  • Travel up to 20%/approx 1 event/mo
  • Interviewing customers and creating compelling copy from those interviews
  • Website copywriting & publishing
  • Participate in training, events, and other learning opportunities to stay current on marketing changes, public relations trends, and research
  • Plan, manage, and attend HomeSafe industry and customer events
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Logistics (booth selection, contracts, visuals, lead generation, internal communication, staffing plan, create talking points)
  • Marketing content creation
  • Social media management/engagement


Qualifications And Skill Requirements


  • Event marketing, communications, and execution (including attendance) experience
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Live in close proximity to a major airport to attend events as necessary
  • 6+ years in marketing and content creation with proven event execution
  • B2B experience
  • Blog posts, emails, social media, white papers, and ad copy
  • Copywriting experience (w/samples or portfolio)
  • Strong communication skills and proven history of working with a variety of departments and stakeholders

  • Experience creating products in Canva
