Are you a creative and driven individual looking to gain experience in marketing and communications? Do you want to use your skills to make a positive impact in the Boston community? DREAM Venture Labs is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team and support our mission of helping refugees and migrants start and develop their businesses.

As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will work closely with the DREAM Venture Labs team to execute our marketing and communications strategy. You will be responsible for creating content, managing social media accounts, and writing a weekly newsletter. You will also support the planning and execution of events, as well as other marketing initiatives.

In addition to supporting our marketing efforts, you will also have the opportunity to learn about social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and nonprofit management. You will attend team meetings, participate in trainings, and engage with social entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and community-based organizations.

This is a non-paid, part-time position with a time commitment of 5-10 hours per week. You will work collaboratively with other interns and the DREAM Venture Labs team to support the development of impactful social ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create content for social media accounts, website, and newsletter.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
• Manage social media accounts and engage with followers.
• Support the planning and execution of events and other marketing initiatives.
• Write a weekly newsletter to update stakeholders on our work and impact.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Passionate about social impact and driving positive change in the world.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with social media management and content creation.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on marketing, communications, or a related field.
