Job Overview


We are currently seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Supervisor in the electrical/electronic industry on behalf of our esteemed client. Our client is a leading organization known for its comprehensive solutions throughout the product lifecycle, backed by innovative technology, engineering design services, and world-class manufacturing capabilities. They cater to industries such as commercial aerospace, defense, advanced computing, next-generation telecommunications, complex industrials, medical, and semiconductor capital equipment.


Responsibilities


  • Accurately enter and verify employees work time in the system.
  • Evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Lead or actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up reviews.
  • Adapt quickly to changing programs and willingly take on assigned tasks.
  • Analyze the production schedule to ensure jobs are assigned appropriately to meet delivery dates.
  • Collaborate and contribute to diverse project teams.
  • Prioritize work assignments based on worker skills and project urgency.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit professionalism, confidentiality, and independent judgment when representing the company.
  • Conduct product inspections based on manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Review and compile operations records, including yield, scrap, and maintenance costs.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and people management skills.
  • Assess work orders, product specifications, technical instructions, and facility requirements to requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to workers engaged in assembling, testing, and inspecting assemblies and subassemblies.


RequirementsMinimum Qualifications


  • Proficient in continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to support a 24/7 global business operation, as needed.
  • Strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to address planning issues with guidance from senior management.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office and WebEx conferencing software.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the flexibility to handle additional responsibilities when required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.


Education


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, subject to approval by executive management.
