In this role, Manufacturing Operator is an entry level position that monitors the production process system to ensure proper operation. They inspect, check, and document process production activities. This includes performing container preparation, bulk and non-bulk filling, shipping and receiving activities, and other production and facility capacities as assigned. They ensure safety and quality of workmanship efficiency and timeliness when performing the assigned work..

• Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
• Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior experience as a chemical operator/technician preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

How you will thrive and create an impact 

• May be responsible for snow shoveling/removal.
• Inspects, checks and documents process production activities.
• Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitors the production process system to ensure proper operation.
• Maintains working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety.
• Uses and maintains equipment in good working order and reports any abnormalities in a timely fashion.
• May participate in shipping and receiving activities as necessary.
• Follows materials handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage.
• Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results.
• Ensures safety, quality of workmanship, efficiency and timeliness when performing the assigned work.
