Manufacturing Operations Manager

REGENESIS, is the world’s leader in the development and production of environmental restoration products. Out Gallatin, TN facility is rapidly expanding and has an opening for a Manufacturing/Operations Manager to oversee expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees Production Department responsible for manufacturing key product lines including milled colloidal activated carbon suspensions, liquid iron suspensions, and chemical formulations.
• Oversees the management of all areas of GMP manufacturing, materials management, and warehousing.
• Builds and cultivates efficient relationships with leaders of critical functional areas including US and Europe Sales, Cost Accounting, Product Commercialization, Quality Control, and Field Services.
• Supports the development, revision and accuracy of production and quality plans.
• Oversees Equipment Engineering/Maintenance Department.
• Develops the overall commercial manufacturing operations strategy for on-time and in full fulfillment of US and EX-US product demand, including adequate safety stock.
• Maintains a production scale-up strategy in preparation of product volume growth, including the addition of staff, equipment, and facilities
• Responsible for training and mentoring associates.
• Implements strategic cost reduction methods for continuous optimization of product Cost of Goods.
• Oversees Warehousing Department responsible for inventory, picking and shipping of raw materials and finished goods for multiple product lines.

Qualifications:

• Assesses revisions to and conducts gap assessments against manufacturing / production corporate standards.
• Financial acumen with the ability to maintain, understand and communicate operation and financial metrics, while using the metrics to drive performance.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others, including external sales, supply chain, customer service, engineering, and field services.
• 3+ years successfully managing people, including hiring, coaching, development, and performance management.
• Ensures the safety of manufacturing areas and work practices in accordance with the site EH&S program
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience.

Pay/Benefits:
The position will be within the range of $105,000-135,000 per year(depending on experience) with a discretionary bonus.
