Job Description
Summary The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to providing technical support to all stages on the manufacturing process utilizing Lean tools to achieve business goals. This is an on site position.


Essential Duties


  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, maintaining continuous manufacturing flow and reducing costs.
  • Provide engineering support in lean, quality, productivity, ergonomics and safety.
  • Support plant initiative programs, engage employees and lead to implement changes.
  • Perform any other tasks required by their supervisor.
  • Identify, lead, and drive projects to deliver cost reduction.
  • Lead and support equipment maintenance.
  • Assure compliance Manufacturing-Quality procedures and EHS regulations.
  • Support production team to fulfill manufacturing commitments.
  • Improve process capabilities and capacity in manufacturing areas.
  • Use Lean Manufacturing concepts to drive projects cost reduction & lead projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste.


Requirements


  • Excellent administrative communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Engineering degree and previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage/lead multiple priorities.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Speak, read and write English and Spanish.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in process improvement and team building.
  • Demonstrate problem solving, qualitative and analytical skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge and Green Belt training desirable.
