Manufacturing Engineering Manager Jobs

We are a well-established leader in the Aerospace Industry seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at our new facility in Lafayette, IN. This is a direct hire, long term career opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintain current PFMEA and process qualification documents
• Support EHS safe work methods, ergonomic actions, and other EHS initiatives as needed.
• Compile and report metrics related to engineering support of operations
• Direct or coordinate the work of Manufacturing Engineers to enable factory flow
• Acts as liaison between customer requirements and local processes
• Justify, procure, install, and integrate custom manufacturing equipment
• Perform root cause analyses when non-conformances are identified and deliver corrective actions

Experience:

• 7+ years of Aerospace experience
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (other relevant fields may apply) from an accredited university
• Experience with 3DX or other PLM software
• Understanding of Aerospace standards (AS9100 & ISO9001), concepts, and processes
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing interpretation
• 3+ years people leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with a MES (Solumina preferred)

The starting pay range is $120K-$140K plus benefits and incentives.
