Manual Operator | $19.85 P/H | Full-Time | Weekly Pay & Benefits

Machine operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks. They should be a self starter and should be willing to undergo training if need be, to understand the operations of new equipment.

Job Responsibilities Include

Previous experience for this position is required.

• Performs routine preventative maintenance and cleaning on assigned machines
• Learns to use the hand tools needed to perform the job
• Sets up milling machines by positioning and locating work piece
• Load/unload parts from machine
• Operates assigned machine shop tools including mill, lathe, horizontal and vertical saws, grinders and drill presses
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Works from detailed blueprints
• Set up Lathe Machines
• Lays out reference lines and points as a guide in machining operations when necessary
• Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collects, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers

Regular Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

Pay: $19.85

Work Days

• Monday - Friday
• Optional Saturdays

Work Experience

• Some knowledge of inspection gauges and equipment
• Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards
• Must be able to operate CNC Lathes AND Mills
• Physical strength to handle up to 50-pound objects
• Standing with walking is required for most of the shift
• Ability to communicate issues verbally and in written form
