About The Team

A Technical Reporting& Analytics Consulting Manager is a people leader in Workday’s Global Professional Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud-based software within the State& Local Government industry. We help customers make the most of the Workday platform!

About The Role

The Technical Consulting Manager leads a team of Reporting and PRISM consultants who work to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s various technical requirements. These requirements include integrations between Workday and adjacent systems in the customer landscape, migration of data from existing customer systems to Workday, and relevant reporting and analytic solutions. In addition to people leadership, the Technical Consulting Manager responsibilities include recruiting and hiring hardworking consultants, working with peer services managers to build, deploy and maintain consistent methodology, creating and executing internal initiatives, assisting in the sales cycle, and architecting and delivering solutions to strategic customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design
• 4+ years of Human Resource, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student domain experience
• 4+ years experience working with the Workday application
• 4+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development

Other Qualifications

• Passionate about providing feedback, enabling career development and building a successful team
• Ability to balance multiple work streams such as people management, internal initiatives, project deliverables
• Experience leading a Reporting and Analytics work stream on a software implementation
• Advanced skills to design, develop, and deploy analytic and reporting solutions for customers
• Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including report requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production
• Advanced understanding of data modeling concepts and an ability to manipulate data using software tools
• A problem solver, with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer service
• Active Workday Implementer Certification or Workday PRO Certification
• Advanced skills with Workday reporting technologies such as report writer, discovery boards, scorecards, PRISM, and dashboards
• Experience working within or with customers in the State& Local Government industry
• Experience coaching and mentoring all levels of technical consultants on day to day work, providing insights on critical and blocking issues and career experience opportunities.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $106,500 - $159,700

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $101,200 - $187,300
