Job Description

Manager, USAID Projects


Seeking an experienced USAID projects manager to provide home office technical oversight and management of USAID prime and subcontracts. The Manager will undertake technical support activities for a range of IDG programs, initially including the Washington-based USAID Indo-Pacific Opportunities Project (IPOP) and the Technical Assistance Project for Economic Growth (TAP EG) Project.


The Manager will also be expected to work closely with Business Development on proposal efforts.


Please note: Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the United States. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available for this role.


This is a hybrid role. Work will be onsite 3 days per week (Tuesdays - Thursdays.)

Qualifications include:

A graduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, International Trade, MBA, or related field.


5 or more years of experience in project management, preferably with USAID or MCC project implementing contractors.


Proven experience in maintaining and building client relationships with USAID and other bi-lateral or multi-lateral donors.


Familiarity with USAID regulations and policies (including AIDAR and FAR regulations) preferred.


Willingness to travel and work abroad in less developed countries for at least 4 to 6 weeks per year.
