POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing Education and Workforce, the Manager coordinates activities relating to nursing education across the organization. The Manager demonstrates a high level of competency in both nursing theory and practical bedside application of skills and knowledge. The Manager collaborates with nursing leadership in offering training and development to meet organizational needs around the education of nursing and nursing support staff. The Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the planning, managing, implementing, and coordinating of educational efforts that support organizational and network goals. The Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating orientation and other training programs, individual development plans, in-service education and continuing education opportunities. The Manager demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
