Manager, Store Marketing


Primary Purpose


The Manager of North America Store Marketing will support the company’s Coach Outlet initiatives capitalizing on strong marketing messages in-line with our global brand transformation. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing marketing campaigns specifically focused on driving foot traffic and sales within stores while also enhancing the overall shopping experience for new and returning customers.


Main Responsibilities


  • Ensure all marketing materials are produced with high quality, on-time and within budget in collaboration with Global Visual Experience teams.
  • Provide program recaps to evaluate KPI’s and ROI, ensure budget adherence, and inform future strategies.
  • Develop and execute in store and mall partnership advertising plans in key centers. Establishing relationships with mall marketing teams and other local/regional marketing partners and vendors.
  • Proactively manage projects, schedules, and priorities to ensure cross functional alignment and decisions can made to meet timelines and budget expectations.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience and Global Events to provide clienteling scripts, best practices, guidance, inspiration, assets, and approvals, for in store events and key 360 marketing campaign support.
  • Become a champion for stores and a central point of contact for all marketing inquiries.
  • Assist Manager, Store Marketing + Wholesale if bandwidth allows and when needed.
  • Research and present ideas to improve Outlet store marketing and be an advocate of change with cross functional stakeholders. Maintaining knowledge and execution of industry best practices for both Retail and Outlet as well as performing ongoing benchmarking with competing luxury brands.
  • Identify, recommend, and execute local/regional marketing initiatives for Outlet stores that align with overall brand strategies and achieve specific performance metrics.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising, Stores, and Buying teams on 2D support, window amplification, promotional alignment, product assortment and overall creative approvals.
  • Lead store marketing calls to share updates with field team on a monthly basis.
  • Write effective creative briefs that are on-brand, seasonally relevant, and compelling. Ensure marketing initiatives are consistent with global brand priorities, newness, promotional moments, site communications, and store merchandising strategies.
  • Lead and execute in center corporate supported events in liaison with North America Experiential team.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, project manage multiple projects at once, be flexible and adaptable.
  • 4-6 years of marketing experience with knowledge and interest in store marketing.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours, as needed, to support weekend events, in store visits, window tests, pop ups, etc.
  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to drive the same in business partners.
  • Ability to self-direct, manage ambiguity and flex to changing business needs.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Project Management Tools, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, high energy, curiosity to learn more and innovate.
