Description & Requirements

**Internal Job Title: Manager- IT - Supply Chain Planning Capabilities

This role is a functional IT Business Analyst role in a Global team with a focus on Demand Planning. The role is the owner of the applications and business process implementation within the primary functional area. The role is responsible to participate in the delivery of projects and sprints as part deployment of the o9 Platform across the globe. The role will is an individual contributor and subject matter expert that will document- define- deliver- and maintain the business solution of o9.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to internal Business Leads on application functions.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate all assigned pending demand and active work throughout agile sprints. It can be anticipated that there will be numerous concurrent sprints of varying size and complexity.
  • Diagram process flows.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to elicit comprehensive business requirements and use cases- to interpret and to recommend solution within the o9 system.
  • Deliver precise functional specifications- wireframes- and user stories that include functional hierarchy- workflow- business rules- interface design and definitions- outstanding issues- data analysis- and data mapping to end users and technical staff.
  • Evaluate business processes- anticipate requirements- uncover areas for improvement- and develop and implement solutions.
  • Supports change management activities by assisting with development of training materials- training scenarios- documentation- communication and change impacts.
  • Conduct meetings with department heads within Business Unit (BU) to understand process and to ensure that BU IT needs are being met and dealt with appropriately.
  • Assist technical and configuration team members with triage to ensure that business requestor is aware of potential resolution options.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder groups- translating and interpreting business needs into actionable requirements and into deliverable solutions.
  • Maintaining and developing relevant expertise in the domain.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology.
  • Solution design experience
  • Demand Forecasting or related Supply Chain planning spaces.
  • Functional and/or technical experience in:
    • Demand Forecasting or related Supply Chain planning spaces.
    • Requirements definition/mapping.
    • Solution design experience
    • Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology.
    • Test planning and scenario creation. Test script creation and editing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with both local and remote teams.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools a plus- but not required.
  • Requirements definition/mapping.
  • Demonstrates process & technical knowledge of the core area supported as well as the areas integrating with their area. Understanding of end-to-end processes is a plus.
  • Test planning and scenario creation. Test script creation and editing.
  • Experience with o9 a plus.
  • Solid blend of business and/or technical capabilities- business operating models and underlying technical architectures.
  • Progressive responsibility in SAP environment desirable.
