THE OPPORTUNITY

As the FSQA Manager, Traceability and Quality Systems, you will own Chipotle Mexican Grill’s food safety and quality systems including traceability, cold chain, supplier compliance documentation, heavy metal monitoring program, food fraud prevention, specification management, packaging compliance, and other programs as assigned by the Director of FSQA. This role will manage one to two direct reports. You will support the FSQA Category Managers for produce, protein, prepared foods, and ingredients by ensuring that all supplier documentation and programs are current and easily accessible.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain Chipotle Mexican Grill’s Food Safety and Quality Systems on digital platforms.

• Seek out, recommend, and leverage recent technology in the areas of traceability, cold chain compliance, and specification management.

• Manage the day-to-day execution of food traceability from supplier to restaurant; managing product removals when they are necessary.

• Monitor and report Food Safety and Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Manage the team responsible for real-time monitoring of food quality reports from restaurants.

• Manage supplier label compliance for traceability.

• Ensure that Chipotle has the appropriate data and substantiation to support guest-facing nutritional data and claims.

• Support the above for additional concepts and other markets as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university.

• Master’s Degree (MS) in Food Science and/or Food Safety preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $94,000 to $129,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
