Manager Breast Center - Breast Care & Imaging Center

Salary Range: $53.8200 - $88.7600 /hour

The Manager, Breast Center is a nationally registered professional. This role is responsible for the daily operations in all areas of the assigned Hoag Breast Care and Imaging Center locations. This includes, but is not limited to, staffing, patient care, surgical services and breast imaging services.

The Manager, Breast Center provides leadership in the area of surgical services and breast imaging operations. Responsibilities include the assessment, planning and implementation of the daily patient schedule, delivery of patient care, assuring compliance with all regulatory and/or legal entities and maintaining collaborative relationships with the practicing physicians and surgeons within the center.

In close collaboration with the Outpatient Imaging Services Manager and under the direction of the VP of Functional Area, the Program Director and the Medical Director, the Manager, Breast Center establishes evidence based quality metrics and performance improvement goals for the department; Evaluates the capabilities of all personnel prior to delegating duties within the department; Acts as the internal consultant for all regulatory compliance matters relating to breast care services at this location; Projects and image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct; Participates in the continuous quality improvement process

Education and Experience

Required:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or an accredited nursing program

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an RT or RN.

Must have 5 years progressive supervisory experience or equivalent.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

10 years’ experience as an RT or RN

Five (5) years of progressive management experience, including budgetary oversight and compliance.

Experience in working with staff, nurses and physicians in a matrix reporting structure.

Knowledge of the regulatory environment in not-for-profit organizations and outpatient settings.
