Job Description

Position Description:
Responsible for organizing, staffing, and monitoring banquet functions and handling personnel-related matters. Coordinate and oversee physical set-up requirements and execution. Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.

  • Interact and coordinate details with other departments.
  • Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Work with the Banquet and/or Catering Directors to manage, organize, and monitor banquet events.
  • Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.
  • Coordinate and oversee physical setup requirements and execution.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
