As a management trainee, you will gain valuable working experience and mentorship in different positions within our commercial teams to develop a deep understanding of our business.

- You will be a full-time paid employee at Complete Genomics during the 3+1 years program with the opportunity to work in three unique positions within our commercial teams (years one – three) followed by one position as a junior leader (year four).
- You will have the opportunity to attend additional educational programs that align to your program such as Six Sigma, AMA courses, Agile certifications, Sales certifications, PMP, QE certifications, and even a MBA (subject to limitations)!
- You will wrap up the program with a capstone program presentation and the opportunity to take on a leadership role that aligns to your interests.

What are the US Management Trainee Program Track Options?
Each year (1-3), you will start a new position within our commercial teams to gain valuable experience therein to understand our operations. As you progress each year, you will apply your gained knowledge to help drive success for yourself and the team.
Marketing
You will have the opportunity to engage in roles like field support, sales, and commercial operations.
Manufacturing
You will have the opportunity to engage in roles like product development, field support, and sales.
Sales / Business Development
You will have the opportunity to engage in roles like marketing, field support, and commercial operations.
Product Development
You will have the opportunity to engage in roles like laboratory applications, sales, and manufacturing.
Commercial Operations
You will have the opportunity to engage in roles like field support, marketing, and sales.
Upon successful completion of your first three years, you and your advisor will discuss your options, which can include starting in a progressive role within your chosen track.

Are you eligible and how do you apply?
To be eligible, you must have…
- Completed a minimum bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or engineering, or similar applicable degree commensurate to the career track for which you are applying.
- Completed your degree within the last 2 years AND have not gained more than 2 years of post-degree work experience.
- Graduated from a US accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or greater.

What is the interview process?
- If chosen for an interview, you will first speak with our Talent team, who will want to learn more about you.
- Successful candidates will be notified around October 1, 2023, to allow ample time for onboarding and relocation to San Jose, CA (if needed).
- If selected, you will then engage in a video interview with the respective advisor.
- Top candidates will be invited to our office in San Jose, CA to meet our teams in person, which will include a group interview and presentation. We will also provide you with a tour of our facility. For those coming from outside the area, we will provide you with an area tour – we want you to see all that the Bay area has to offer, as you will be residing in the area soon.

How will we reward you?
The base salary range for these positions are $65,000 to $85,000 depending on your education level.
