Job Description

PREMIER SYSTEM SUPPORT REMOTE POSITION / FULL TIME / 8A-4:30P/ 80 HOURS PER PAY

The Managed Care Contract Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial and operational data related to managed care contracts for Premier Health hospitals and physician organizations. The Analyst interprets and researches managed care contract language and methodologies. The Analyst is experienced with advanced and detailed financial analysis utilizing various and complex data sources. The Analyst works with internal stakeholders and external payor representatives to insure contract compliance and to resolve payment issues. The Analyst is involved with financial analysis related to the Premier contractual budget, revenue cycle performance and payor negotiations.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

Additional requirements:

Type of degree: Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Credentialed in appropriate EPIC application(s) within 90 days of hire.

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience

Other experience requirements: 1-2 years advanced Financial Analysis

Knowledge/Skills

Strong statistical and analytical skills – Proficient in Excel

Strong organizational skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret contract language

Ability to research, obtain and evaluate information, analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations and decisions in support of contract negotiations.

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
