The Opportunity


We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of our Tetra Pak equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.


Possible position openings & Pay Range


1st shift position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.


2nd shift position working Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.


3rd shift position working Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.


The pay range for this position is $28.50 to $38.50, with shift differential, depending on shift, experience and qualifications.


Responsibilities 


  • Make recommendations and implement improvements to equipment for productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Understand, support, and comply with all company policies, including Health and Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, and Quality.
  • Perform changeovers on different volume and format as required.
  • Assist and work with equipment/machine operators to ensure safe and continuous operation.
  • Maintain daily activity log and spare parts consumption.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all plant equipment (processing, filling, capping, printing, packaging, conveyor systems, etc.).
  • Perform preventative maintenance following standards and schedules as outlined in the PM program (lubrication, adjustment, replacement, cleaning, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience


  • Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance is preferred.
  • TetraPack A3 Flex systems desired.
  • Computer and report writing skills.
  • Relevant work experience in manufacturing equipment installation, controls/automation, maintenance and/or service work.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • TetraPack experience desired.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
  • A commitment to a strong quality culture.
  • Experience in the food packaging or processing industry preferred.
  • A commitment to a strong health and safety culture.
  • Knowledge about CAP30, ACHX, CBP32desired.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer focused mindset.
