Maintenance Technician Jobs

InfraHire is looking for a Maintenance Technician in the Greater Richmond Area.

The Maintenance Technician performs on-demand, corrective, and preventative maintenance on machinery, plumbing, building, electrical equipment, and patient rooms. This position is in healthcare facility maintenance which would require at times various assignments and other miscellaneous duties in the maintenance field.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs on-demand work requests by all staff and visitors .
• Meets deadlines and provides follow up to team members regarding plans, procedures, or delays.
• Completes scheduled preventative maintenance in a timely, and professional manor.
• Uses a computer for tracking work requests, tracking time and materials, processing needs supplied and maintaining needed inventory.
• Complete assigned rounds on shift as required. Maintain current and accurate information by updating maintenance schedules and records.
• Install ceiling tiles, paint drywall, repair toilets, and replace lighting as needed.
• Maintains a room check schedule to proactively maintain a safe and comfortable room with all equipment working properly.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years relevant experience in a healthcare, commercial or industrial setting.
