Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, equipment, utilities, and physical structures.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Fabricate steel and sheet metal projects
• Perform pipefitting, welding and painting tasks
• Inspect equipment operation, identify operating problems and develop resolutions
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing used in water, gas, steam, and process systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, instruction manuals and work orders
• Employ mechanical craft skills in connection with repair or maintenance of industrial equipment and facilities
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Utilize test equipment, instruments, measuring devices and controls, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment

Requirements

• 4 years industrial maintenance work experience or an equivalent combination of industrial maintenance experience and education
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical college certification in industrial maintenance preferred
