Tri County Metals is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Trenton, FL. This Team Member will be part of the support for all locations of equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs. This work includes tooling changeovers, regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

General Schedule

• Schedule is Monday – Friday! Weekends are yours to enjoy!
• Amount of contact: equipment, tools & team member communication.
• Start time is around 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM with a full day. Some scheduled on-call times and occasional overtime for needed repairs.

Equipment

• Computer and Electronic Scanners
• Forklift, welder, electrical conduits, metal fabrication, torch, hand tools, power tools & diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diversified duties including mechanic, trouble shooting, fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, electrical.
• Adhere to and understand all safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and policies of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Read and understand the manuals for equipment working on and tools using.
• Team Members must always put safety first and always wear appropriate PPE!

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication, lock-out/tag-out. Certifications preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift items up to 50 pounds, bend, and squat as required.
• OSHA 10 Certification is required {Can be obtained during introductory period}
• Must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Service oriented, problem solving and forward-thinking skills are a plus.
• Must have a valid and non-suspended driver’s license.
• Must have a basic understanding of business fundamentals.
• Must be comfortable executing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Preferred experience with forklift operation.
