Maintenance Technician I Jobs

Our equal opportunity partner is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to ensure the smooth and safe operation of their manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facilities in Santa Paula, CA

Requirements

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting
• Adaptability to changing environments and demands
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Capability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• 3 years of experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Expectations:

First 3 Months:

• Understand your role in their team and its impact on their strategy
• Complete the immersion program
• Receive training in Lock Out Tag Out, Safety Guards, and Forklift operations
• Grasp plant safety rules, Values, and 5s practices

First 6 Months:

• Help with PM and troubleshooting for RTOs (Thermal oxidizer)
• Get acquainted with plant equipment operation procedures and troubleshooting skills
• Assist in troubleshooting for ID/OD operations
• Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities

First 12 Months:

• Contribute to stormwater activities
• Propose maintenance improvement projects
• Obtain hazardous waste certification
• Provide PM and repair support for VA equipment
