MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, SILICON TECHNOLOGY (STARLINK)

One of the most ambitious missions that SpaceX has undertaken to date, the Starlink satellite constellation, is our solution to providing reliable internet to the entire world. In true SpaceX fashion, Starlink is taking the next step in vertical integration by bringing integrated circuit packaging and assembly in-house for development and manufacturing. You will work closely with IC packaging engineers, equipment manufacturers and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, develop and execute equipment preventative maintenance activities
• Resolve development & production equipment and tooling issues with minimal downtime
• Triage equipment anomalies and drive resolution with preventative actions
• Maintain and repair packaging equipment to full operating condition
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment; or bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline
• 3+ years hands-on equipment experience in microelectronics packaging cleanroom

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:
Maintenance Specialist/Level 1: $30.00 - $38.00/hour
Maintenance Specialist/Level 2: $34.00 - $43.00/hour
Maintenance Specialist/Level 3: $38.00 - $48.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
